Recently I have been thinking.. what can I do after I got my ACCA next year?

Become asst accountant/accountant straight away or do I have to continue be an accounts officer? Omg, I am lost… How do I know if I qualify to be an accountant? In terms of paper qualification I can. But in terms of experience, can i?
I can be very familiar in my own industry accounting currently but if I was to switch to another industry, I think I have to start from scratch? Very pai seh if u go in pple ask u thing that u cannot answer lo.. But if I never try it, I will not know whether I can do it? Or maybe I shld be paiseh to ask from pple then learn from there?
But I have a fren who graduated from Australia. She came back SG, her first job is an accountant liao. How come she is ok ah? Maybe I shld talk to her… keke.

Based on what I see in my boss… She started off as an auditor… She audited companies from different industry.. when she left to join my company as an accountant, she knows agar agar what to do.. and those damn chim accounting standards that applies to diff co. in diff industry…

Maybe I should bring my lec notes to new co. in future.. so when ppl ask me, I will say let me think abt it.. then I will dig out my notes from under the table and search for the answer! wa, how clever I am. Like shit……

Scared… But I still have a year to think…

And what the heck?!!!!!Accounts assistant starting pay is a freaking $1,800 currently compared to when I was applying few years back was only $1,400 lo. The world is so unfair!

It is becos of such imbalance that is creating a lot of unhappiness lo. Can u imagine if u started as $1500. then ur junior colleague (maybe same position) applied for the same job 3 years later. Her starting pay is $1800. And if u have NO INCREMENT during this time.. then u will have 3 yrs worth of exp and she has none and she is paid higher than u?!
Or if co. give me a increment of $100 per yr. I will have $1800 but with 3 yrs worth of exp and she has $1800 with no exp. Still unfair!

So when they say they give u increment it is actually more of adjusting for the inflation etc and not cos of ur excellent work performance. So the best thing is to job hop in order to have zero experience in the new co. but u have higher pay then ur new colleague. :) HAHA.. So clever.
Lik shit...

Ps: i blog twice today.
